MEET THE ARTIST: DANIL POLSHIN

in Design on June 1, 2016

Here we are again on wednesday at our MEET THE ARTIST chapter. We have here with us Danil Polshin, part of EveydayTemple project, who took his time to answer to a few questions for us.

So let’s get started:

1. Who are you? Who is EveryDayTemple

We are a small team based in Russia, consisting of 3 people: Designer, Illustrator, and Project Manager. Our main direction is print design. Icons and illustrations we also try to pull in a list of the main areas. We understand the complexity of the development of personal projects and try to ease promotional part of these projects. Our goal is to make products simple to use. You need only a fairly superficial knowledge of the editor. Because the user does not have time for a dive to learning.

2. How this EveryDayTemple story started? When?

We gathered in January 2014. 4 of February of that year we uploaded on GraphicRiver our first poster.

3. What are you working right now?

Right now we are working on the magazine template of the interior and a series of illustrations of workplace. In the near future they will appear on the site.

4. How you received the proposal to collaborate with Graphic Loot?

Theo wrote to us through Behance and made a tasty partnership offer. (smile)

5. What are the main tools that you use when you work?

We are fans of Adobe products. In different areas we use Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.

6. What is your favorite from all your works? And from another artist?

Certainly it’s our sly cats. Everyone loves cats ^-^_  Drawn between the case in a great mood, they suddenly become extremely popular and in demand. Several times we sold the extended license and  our clients used cats in different areas from mugs to pictures on blinds. And if we go back to our lovely printing reality that it is without a doubt the works of STUDIOJQ . Guys doing awesome things and can teach us a lot.

7. A last word..

Have fun with everything you do, even when you risk and lose.
